Coordinates: 21°10′N 75°51′E / 21.17, 75.85 Faizpur is a city and a municipal council in Jalgaon district in the state of Maharashtra, India. Faizpur is also a small village in the Pakistani province of Punjab.

Faizpur is located at 21.17° N 75.85° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 226 metres (741 feet).

There are 3 major Academic institues in Faizpur, which nurture the talent of the Student in the city and the places nearby, the major institues are:

  • 1) J.T.Mahajan College of Engg.
  • 2) D.N. College of Pharmacy
  • 3) D.N. College of Arts, Science & Commerce.
  • 4) Municipal High School Faizpur (Oldest school in the City, which nurtured Old generation of the City).
  • 5) Bahinabai vidyalay

In 1936, 1st Rural conference of Congress took place in the City.

As of 2001 India census[2], Faizpur had a population of 25,000. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Faizpur has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 68%. In Faizpur, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age. The first rural national conference of Indian Congress was held in Faizpur in 1936 in presence of Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru and Dhanaji Nana Chaudhary. J.T. Mahajan College of Engineering and Madhukar Sugar Factory are located in the Faizpur. Savada-Faizpur M.I.D.C. is the new upcoming industrial revolution for both the cities.
