Faisal Saif, Born 27 April 1976 is a film director from India. Faisal is a winner of Best Story Award from Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival in the year (2006) for his Yet To Be Released feature film Come December. Faisal is also the Film Maker who has received Twice Death Threats for his works because he always chooses Controversial Stories for his Feature Film.

Faisal Saif started his film career following the school of south Indian film director Balu Mahendra. He believes in making reality cinema. His works include Jigyaasa (2006), That brought him into limelight as a controversial film maker. Faisal Saif first approached Mallika Sherawat to play the title part, But later the part went to Hrishitaa Bhatt. The press and media in India did claimed that Jigyaasa was supposed to be based on the life of the sex symbol Mallika Sherawat[1] but Faisal denied. Faisal Saif in future intents to make all kinds of films. Personally Faisal enjoys watching all kinds of Thrillers and Scary movies.

In some press interviews Actress Hrishitaa Bhatt also said that Faisal Saif has the style of Quentin Tarantino kind of Cinema.

Faisal Saif started his career as an Independent Music Video Director. He directed videos for Catrack Music and Vital Records. He then made a Docu-Feature on Homosexuality titled A Love Without Name for TV.

Faisal Saif later made his first Feature Film Come December in 2003 which till date never got released due to the Producer Aushim Khetarpal. The film Come December got Faisal Saif an International Award for Best Story in 2006. He then made Jigyaasa in 2005 which was very high publicised film of the year 2006. The film released with a Huge Promotion attached to it and gave a stand to Faisal.

Presently Faisal Saif is busy in making his third Feature Film in Hindi Language titled Main Osama. This film is already in the news for the controversies surrounding the Terrorist Threats[2]. At the same time sources say that Faisal Saif is also planning a Shia-Sunni love story called Jaaney Do
