Fairvale High School, established in 1969 , is a co-educational school located in Fairfield, Sydney, Australia, part of the South Western Sydney School Region and the Fairfield School Education Area.
Fairvale is known to many for its unusual "Binishell". The Binishell is spherical in shape and completely green. It serves the purpose of a gym, dance hall, performance hall, and general Assembly hall. The Binishell was a gift from the graduating year twelve class of 1979 to the school. Also to be noted is that the first attempt at building the Binishell resulted in disaster when the foundations failed and the binishell collapsed.
