Failing Songs is an album by Matt Elliott, the second in the Drinking Songs Trilogy.

The album was recorded mainly in Matt Elliott's home, though the violin tracks were recorded in the village church. The songs are serious and melancholy, many of them commenting on the current political climate in Great Britain.[1] Much of the music seems inspired by French and Hungarian folk melody.
