[Fahrenheit] formed in the fall of 2004 with founding members Shai Caleb & Wayne Joshua recruiting their favourite musicians to form the band which initially was called the 'Wayne Joshua Band' later becoming known as [Fahrenheit].

Shai Caleb and Wayne Joshua, long time singer songwriters and production duo, had been for years producing projects and recording solo artists in their famous Dreamspace studios situated in the luscious Clifton cove.

After years of success decided to start something of their own which they could put all their experience over the past years into to create a group of musicians which no other South African band has ever matched musically let alone experimentally.

Fahrenheit was the first group in South Africa to release a debut reaching number 1 seven weeks in arow and to embark on a 40 day fully booked Country-wide tour of the entire Southern African region playing non-stop everyday to crowds of thousands of fans following the band from city to city. Drummer Shai Caleb says "it was truly a once in a lifetime experience, to see such a young united South African fan base, really following a band that gave hope and inspiration to not only the hundreds but the thousands". Lead Singer Wayne Joshua said "to be on tour with these guys is what it's all about, we put smiles on peoples faces and brought an evening of rock n roll to the hearts of the fans".

The band comprises Wayne Joshua on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Shai Caleb on Drums, Keys and Percussion, Yves Dei-Conti on Piano and Guitar and Paul McIver on Korg and Bass Guitar.

The band have embarked on an overseas tour which includes the Americas, Europe and Great Britain, band members say all is well and they have faith that settling in the United States will prove crucial in the bands rise to International success.
