F451 are an Essex, England based political indie/punk/rock band, named after the dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The band are Jez (guitar, vocals), Jon (drums, vocals) and Matt (bass, vocals), who play the South of England regularly. The band have released four EPs, one mini-album and one download single to date - The New Empire (January 2005), The Catastrophe EP (January 2006), The Battleground Is Everywhere (February 2007), The Battleground is Slovakia mini-album (May 2007), Think. Fight. Live (July 2007), and The Digerati (November 2007). The band cite groups such as Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, The Clash and Muse and writers such as George Orwell, Anthony Burgess and Aldous Huxley as influences upon their musical style and lyrical content.
