Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science

The Politehnica University of Bucharest in Romania has a Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science, considered to be one of the best faculties in the country. The institute trains engineers in three domains: Computer science, Information Technology and Automatic Control. The learning process spans across a period of 4 years, and during this time, the students learn maths, physics, programming, electronics and other subjects related to their specific profile.

For the 2007/2008 university year, the admission was 2 written exams, at maths and physics. Each of these tests were made up of 18 questions, and each question had 6 possible answers. The two tests represent 80% of the admission grade, and the rest of 20% is filled in by the grade obtained at the Bacalaureat final exam.
