Face Up

Face Up is a Catholic magazine targeted at teenagers published by Redemptorist Publications, which is administered by the Redemptorists of Ireland.

The magazine began in February 2001[1] and is published monthly. Its slogan is "for teens who want something deeper". Each magazine has a distribution of approximately 13,000 copies and a readership of 40,000.[2].

In keeping with its Redemptorist background, the magazine advocates a strongly socially conservative ethos. In particular, it is anti-abortion[3][4], anti-drugs[5], anti-teen sex[6], anti-alcohol[7], anti-pornography[8], anti-divorce[9], anti-swearing[10] and anti-gay. Face Up advocates church attendance[11] and care for the environment[12]
