A tag has been placed on PLM E-group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Melsaran 17:03, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Melsaran,

I am politely requesting and contesting that the article (PLM E-group) which I have contributed in the wikipedia is notable and relevant to the other wikipedia articles, especially to the article of PLM (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) this is a stub article, which is very significant and related to the PLM - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. It explains and gives sufficient background related to the PLM alumni and students' interactive community. This article will also be used for other PLM articles. I believe that this article is worthy to be published in relation the PLM articles, I am an alumnus of the PLM, hence I personally know and see the importance of this PLM E-group article. esp to these following articles:

I hope you will consider and understand our position. Thanks and God bless us Fabyan17 17:57, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey...

I believe that you are a die-hard PLM alumnus. But please stop posting your Yahoo group as one of the external links for PLM articles because it is SIMPLY IRRELEVANT. And, also please cease from insisting that your PLM E-group article here at Wikipedia be revived because it is VERY INSIGNIFICANT and SO UNENCYCLOPEDIC.

Can I also comment on the forum that you posted at the Philippine government website? I am also a PLM alumnus, and I know that PLM is truly among the best universities in the country, but the way you presented PLM at the forum site was so unscholarly. Kakahiya kasi parang cuentong cuchero ang dating. You even have the nerve to add the phrase, "humbly speaking..." Have you seen the comments of some people who were able to come across your forum post? You could've presented PLM better and defended why it is indeed one of the bests through factual assertions and references... KAKATAWA IYONG FORUM POSTS mo sa www.gov.ph site!!!

I WILL STOP placing your so-called "PLM E-Group logo" as PLM logo here. So, PLEASE STOP putting back your Yahoo group. Your Yahoo group belongs to Yahoo. Kakatawa ka talaga...—The preceding unsigned comment was added by PLM Scholar

MY RESPONSE to User: PLM Scholar:

How can the PLM e-group be insignificant, when in fact it was officiated and administered by then Dean of Mass Communication, Dr. Barrios. This was authorized by the admin. in 2005, in order to connect and find all PLMayers around the globe because they will be celebrating the PLM Ruby Anniv. back then, and they want to inform all iskos for the said Homecoming. Do you know the meaning of- IRRELEVANT? your actions are the IRRELEVANT ones. just for your info kapatid, PLM E-group is the most active PLM internet forum today; it has members from the pioneer PLM batch of 1960's up to the present batch, half of the members are alumni, the rest are students and faculty. Have you visited or joined the PLM e-group? haven't you seen the NEWS & ANNOUNCMENTS about PLM in that forum? haven't you read the SIGNIFICANT inquiries of the students/alumni which is being answered in that forum?

Lack of Knowledge Destroys people and it is very dangerous. You should have atleast investigated or have a background check of the PLM E-group to know if it is IRRELEVANT or not important. Have you read the rationale/rules of wikipedia? do they consider e-groups as irrelevant EXTERNAL link, (not internal)? You are making your own rules, based on bias emotions. You don't even check the other external links if they are legitimate or related to PLM, a lot of the links are dead/non-existent. You should have removed or updated those links but then you only focus your bias perception to the PLM E-group which is undeniably a RELEVANT PLM "EXTERNAL" link. (It is a LINK and not an ARTICLE)

You can even find the PLM E-group link in the AP Official website (PLM websites link):

http://www.angpamantasan.org/common_files/plm_sites.htm

If AP (together with thousands of PLMayers in the PLM E-group) considers it RELEVANT, who are you to classify it as IRRELEVANT?

It is even listed in the BESTDISCUSSIONGROUPS.COM (a listing of relevant, best and most active e-groups in the world:

http://www.bestdiscussiongroups.com/cat2464/5.htm

(Since you've put the level of this discussion in a "personal" one, here's a personal comment to you) PLM Scholar, you even use the username PLM scholar, when you don't even scholarly investigated if the PLM E-group is relevant or not. That is the real funny action. But I won't laugh bec. You are my kapwa isko and I care for that matter.

MY RESPONSE: Thanks for the unsolicited and IRRELEVANT comment about my post in the gov.ph, (since this discussion is just for wikipedia and not other sites - IRRELEVANT one, but ok I will respond)

Para sayo "unscholarly" un, para sa akin I'm just expressing my own personal opinion.

Eh ang nilalagay mo lang PLM website ang source, that is IRRELEVANT my friend. At for your info. i'm not hungry for recognition, i'm just asserting my copyrights according to the law.

You Cannot Give Something Which You Don't Have...

God bless us po, walang personalan kapatid ha. Trabaho lang. :)

Mabuhay tayo isko at si HESUS!
