[edit] Picture

There must be a better picture out there. After all, the article states "He is regarded as something of a sex symbol in his native Italy and was recently voted sexiest player of the 2006 World Cup." A picture of him playing soccer would be nice. - Slow Graffiti 21:59, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

I definitely agree. The Cafú page shows a picture of him raising the world cup, why not do the same with Cannavaro, as he was the world cup winner captain? I know there's some better pictures out there User:Orurum 09:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

I've put in its place the other free one from Commons, that is currently used on the Italian version of the article. It is more representative of how he looks right now as he has grown his hair back a bit. - The Daddy 05:10, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Death

Someone posted this at the top of the article:

HEARTBREAKING NEWS:::: all fans cannavaro tragically dies on the 14th of september 2006 at 2.41 pm after a horrific car accident we hope you rest in peace and may we all look at your light

Didn't cite a source and in the wrong section anyway, so reverted. --WikiSlasher 10:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC) Well someone else did, vandalism apparently. There will always be idiots in the world. --WikiSlasher 10:47, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tattoo

What do the Chinese characters on Canna's back mean. I couldn't find a translation, or a picture of the tattoo. Does anyone know what it means? The article makes me want to know. ABart26 17:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

What do the Chinese characters on Canna's back mean? Ans:It's his daughter's name in chinese!!!

[edit] Vandalism

Someone keeps vandalizing this page, under the article "Footballer of the Year" I'm not sure why, but I'll keep deleteing it, until it is signed and reason given. - Izzo

[edit] Fabio Mamerto Cannavaro

Is Mamerto his middle name? From what I've heard "mamerto" means dumbass in Spanish. So it smells like vandalism to me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.6.170.202 (talk) 02:29, 22 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Overuse of "fact" tag

This seems like trolling, why on earth would there need to be a citation to say that Fabio's brother plays for Napoli, when Paolo Cannavaro even has his own article detailing this? - The Daddy 09:00, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Goals scored for Juventus

Could someone check if he really scored 17 goals with juventus.Juve2000 (talk) 20:45, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

The Italian wiki page says he scored 6. (and, 5 with Parma, and 2 with Napoli; which also contradicts this page). Neier (talk) 13:52, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
