FabricServer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

FabricServer is a software program published by DataSynapse which decouples the application from its underlying infrastructure to run in an environment where the application no longer directly uses key OS-specific services or configurations. Separating the hardware management from software management provides the ability to harness heterogeneous computing resources to function as an aggregated and single pool of shared resources to be allocated based on business policy and user demand.

FabricServer includes support for application platforms like BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Business Objects, EMC Documentum, Informatica, Hyperion and more.
