Fabio Gava

Fabio Gava (Godega di Sant'Urbano, 26 October 1949) is an Italian politician.

A member of the Italian Liberal Party since 1967, he joined Forza Italia in 1993 following his long-time friend Giancarlo Galan. Elected to the Regional Council of Veneto in 1995, he was floor leader of Forza Italia and regional minister of Budget in Galan I Government. Between 2000 and 2005 he was Vice President of the Region and Health minister in Galan II Government. Since 2005 he is minister of Economics in Galan III Government.[1][2]

In the 2008 general election Gava was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, where he sits in the group of The People of Freedom.
