Fabian Delph (born 5 May 1991) is an English footballer who currently plays for Leeds United. Delph started off his career in football as a trainee at Bradford City[1]. Delph left City in 2004 and his school, Tong Secondary School in 2006[2] to sign a scholarship with Leeds United. In March 2008, Delph started his international career, making his debut as a substitute for the England Under-19s[3].

After a string of impressive performances in Spring 2008, Delph was made captain of the Leeds Reserves[4]. He was given his debut at Leeds as a substitute in the final match of the 2006-07 season against Derby County on the 6 May 2007 and was awarded his first professional contract on the 11th January 2008[5]. Delph made two appearances for Leeds in the 2007-08 season, both as a substitute. Delph is seen as a hot prospect for Leeds and is expected to play a part in Leeds' side in the 2008-09 season.
