FA Women's Community Shield

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The FA Women's Shield is the Women's Football equivalent of the FA Community Shield in the Men's Football. It is the first competitive match of the Football season, although it is seen by most fans as a showpiece event. The match itself is competed between the Champions of the FA Women's Premier League and the winners of the FA Women's Cup.
