[edit] First name

First name is Frank? --HappyCamper 23:04, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Thank you thuogh for the reminder that it is dopey to tell readers that someone is influential when that attribute should be evident (or not!) from what they did - excellent point.--Smokefoot 23:48, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
  • I was a bit worried afterwards that I might have sounded too overbearing. I'm glad to hear it came across positively :-) On another note, do you know whether the naming of "fac" and "mer" isomers originated from Cotton as well, or was it another reseracher? --HappyCamper 23:54, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

I dont know, but my guess is that it comes from Wener's time - check with Beestra's in the nomenclature area. I just found that its Frank Albert.--Smokefoot 23:59, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Agreed, the link is dead. Anyone have another reference, or else we'll have to delete the comment about it being suspicious NPOV. Spuddddddd 4Mar08
