F. R. Wallace, Jr.

Frank Richard "Cappy" Wallace Jr. (? - May 4, 2008) was an American politician. Wallace served as the mayor of Chesterfield, New Jersey, a small rural community in Burlington County, New Jersey from 1975 until 1981. [1] Wallace blocked efforts by developers to develop large tracts of land, citing the potential for urban sprawl and the need for open space, and championed farmland preservation during his tenure as mayor.[1]

F. R. Wallace, Jr. died on May 4, 2008, at the age of 91 in Haverford, Pennsylvania.[1]
