Hon Francis Gbede Endeley rose from his environment to become a founding father of Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
He achieved his Bsc in Civil Engineering from Manchester University and went on to serve at Shell BP between 1971-1979. He was appointed commissioner for works and transport of Rivers State between 1979-1983.He was a member of the old Rivers State House of assembly until the coup of the Buhari regime. He worked tirelessly as chairman of the movement for the creation of Bayelsa state. His ambition to see the creation of Bayelsa State was achieved in 1996.
