[edit] Submarines

Any idea why the paragraph on the proposed "carrier submarine" was deleted? Aerobird 02:18, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure, even though according to the history, I was the one that deleted it. I didn't think I had.
That said, the paragraph was completely unsourced. Find a source and it can definitely go back in. —Matthew Brown (T:C) 02:42, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you

...for the pic of the Sea Dart on display on the hardstand at the San Diego Aerospace Museum...I was the youngest of the restoration crew of that particular plane. My father had worked on the Sea Dart program early in his career at Convair, and it was a pleasure to see him work again with those who mentored him when he was a young engineer.

'Of course, I ALSO remember him giving me a bucket and sending me into the engine bay to bail out water that had collected as te plane sat for years out in the open.
