The Spanish F100 Class Air Warfare Destroyer Alvaro De Bazan is visiting Sydney as part of the first circumnavigation of the globe by a Spanish warship in 142 years.

The F100 ship is one of the design options being developed by the Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance for Government consideration in mid 2007.

No free photos of this ship in Australia are available. The Hobart class ships will not start entering service until about 2013 and it is unlikely that any further Spanish F-100 class ships will visit Australia so the photo cannot be readily replaced.
