Description

Two McDonnell F-4B Phantom II (BuNos 151472, 151491) of fighter squadron VF-84 Jolly Rogers in the mid-1960s. VF-84 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CVA-62) flying F-4Bs for two deployments: 10 May to 13 Dec 1965 to Vietnam, and 13 Jun 1966 to 1 Feb 1967 to the Mediterranean Sea.
