In my opinion this article is not very appropriate.

1., Főzelék is not purée (vegetable is only cooked for 'főzelék', but not pressed, and/or strained to the consistency of a soft paste or thick liquid)

2., Főzelék is definitevly different food than soup (leves) because főzelék is never cooked with meat, but leves is almost always cooked with meat (except clear vegetable and fruit soups)

3., In hungarian the first course is always soup. (If you don't eat soup, you say: 'I had only second course'.)

4., The main point in 'főzelék' that you add the so called 'rántás' or 'habarás' to the vegetables. (The rántás is made with flour, oil and creme fraiche).

The http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Főzelék and http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Főzelék articles are quite appropriate.
