Füsun Önal

'Füsun Önal is a Turkish singer, actress and writer. She is most known as one of the most famous singers in Turkey.

She was born in Kadıköy, İstanbul in 1947. Her father was a soldier in the Turkish army and her mother was a house wife. Füsun grew up in Ankara and studied Phililogy in Ankara University. After this, she joined Dormen theatre as an actress and singer. After her watching her performances, CBS Plak (CBS Records) signed her for a record contract. She released a total of 12 albums. Füsun also acted in many films, mainly as a singer and performed many of her songs on them.
