Førdefjorden
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Førdefjorden is a fjord in Sogn og Fjordane. The traditional landscape of Sunnfjord lies around the fjord. The fjord begins in the sea south of Florø and continues east until it reaches Førde. In that town there is the estuary of Jølstra river, which releases the water of lake Jølstravatnet. The "inner" , i.e. western, branch or end of this lake is called Kjøsnesfjorden.
