Fölsen is a small village in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany with about 200 inhabitants. It is located in one of the sidevalleys of the River Nethe. Fölsen is the head church of Niesen and Helmern. It has a small Pub placed at the village square and a historic church. The village is proud to have a full operational volunteer fire brigade, which is about to get a new Mercedes Benz firetruck in 2008, replacing their old 1983 Ford Transit.
Fölsen has a lot of different clubs and associations:
