[edit] Disambiguating "kibbutzim"

In a description of activities in the camp, the present text has the line: "It maintained contact with a number of kibbutzim in what was later to become the State of Israel. "

As much of the text seems to be based on the USHMM website's page on Foehrenwald (see ext. links), the mention there of "kibbutzim" explicitly refers to the pioneering training communal groups of the Zionist youth movements in the camp, rather than to kibbutzim in Israel.

The contacts between camp residents and the Yishuv in Mandatory Palestine, later Israel, included but were not restricted to kibbutzim.
I'll expand the content once I've completed my library research, but am correcting this right away. Deborahjay 06:55, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
