[edit] what recent statements?

"Recent statements from Liverpool cast doubt as to whether or not he will join the Anfield side." this was just added, but I can find no source to back it up, so for now it's removed. Anyone got further details? aLii 19:45, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Well, seeing as he's been at Liverpool for a month and played several matches, I think it was pretty safe to remove it. --Stevefarrell 10:44, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Before changing the height from 1.78 m to 1.80 m again, please give some good reasons not to trust these sources:

and there are others... I think that from a verifiability point of view we should list his height as 1.78 m.
