Ezinihitte-Mbaise is a local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria. The area consists of the town of Ezinihitte and its surroundings and is part of the Mbaise district.

The area contains several schools (Eziudo High School, Ezinihitte Mbaise Ife Secondary School, Ife Ezinihitte Ihitte Ezinihitte Secondary School, Ihitte , Ezinihitte Eziagbogu Secondery school ,Eziagbogu Ezinihitte, Saint Leo Comprehensive secondary school Eziagbogu) and three hospitals (Jasman Hospital Ltd. Be informed that Ezinihitte is not a town, it is a local government (county)and it is made up of towns such as Itu - the headquarters,Oboama,umunama,ihitte, Onicha, Obizi, Ife na Owutu, Udo, Eziudo,Okpofe and Amumara. Ezinihitte is in the Igbo heartland. She boasts of one of the highest rural population densities in the world.She has very high facundity rates and most wemen had up to 12 life births. The very high population density had leds to drastic reduction of soil fertility and soil erosion in some parts such as Udo. A lot of people had migrated to the cities and other parts of the nation and the world at large. Ezinihitte people could be seen in almost all parts of the habitable world. Situated in the tropical rain forest belt patches of virgin forests feature trees up tp thirty meters tall. Such trees are Iroko, ebony,oil bean tree, obeche,Rosewood and others. The most common tree here the Oil palm tree. Apert from the prominent trees there are two other layers of tree -the intermediate and lower layer trees. The 'tall' tree host a lot of climbers epiphites and saprophites. The fauna includes birds such as hawks (oga), black kite (egbe) various awls,red neckes waever bird (ahia)and yellow neckes weaver birds.Doves (ovo) Rabbits squirrel (uze),mongoose (nkwukwa),viper, cobra (aju ala),vine snake (nchuaku)and now very rare Deers and antelope (ele).
