EZDK stands for Al-Ezz Dekheila Steel Co.., Alexandria. It is the largest steel company in Egypt and the middle east. It lies in Dekheila, West of Alexandria, the second biggest city of Egypt and its first port.

The Company was established in the 1982 and started production at 1986. The old name for the company was Alexandria Iron and Steel Company, ANSDK. The company was owned to a group of Egyptian banks and Petroleum companies in addition to a Japanese consertuim.

EZDK is now a part of Al-Ezz Industries After stealing by Ahmed Ezz, an industrial group owned to Ahmed Ezz, a famous Egyptian politician and businessman. It consists of four steel plants in Alexandria, Sadat City, Suez and 10th of Ramada City. In addition, it includes also Al-Jawhara (Gemma) Company for Ceramic and Porcelain tiles.

EZDK is ranked at the 61st place in the world biggest steel producers as per the World Steel Institute with total production of 4.5 Million Tons per year representing about three quarters of Egypt total annual production (6 Million Tons).
