[edit] Daf Yomi stub

Hello Eliyak - I noticed that you replaced the stub tag on the daf yomi tag. I don't mind that, and if you look at the hebrew version you'll see that there is definitely a lot more to be said, but I was wondering if there is a wiki guideline on what constitutes a "stub" versus "an article which is fairly complete, but could use more info." Thanks - Eykanal 15:39, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

There is a guideline at Wikipedia:Stub. Importantly, a stub tag not only makes that little message show up at the bottom of the article, but also adds the article to a stub category, in this case Category:Judaism stubs, so that people interested in expanding undersized articles can more easily locate them. --Eliyak TยทC 22:22, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: request for Jayden54bot source code

Hi Eykanal, I would post the source code if I could, but it's way too big to be posted since I've completely written everything from scratch, which includes a full-blown PHP5.1 framework to handle almost everything. The bot code itself is quite lengthy as well. In the near-future I will post the full framework to SourceForge so that you can easily write your own bot, but for the moment I highly recommend you take a look at the Pywikipedia framework to create your bot. I hope this helps! Cheers, Jayden54 16:39, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia templates on Wikia

Hello, Eykanal. I noticed you contributing to the talk at Template:Tnavbar saying you had been using it on a Wikia. I wonder if you could help the Psychology Wikia? Please have a look at http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Template_talk:Tnavbar. Robin Patterson 08:31, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:EPrime logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:EPrime logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Magnetoencephalograph.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Magnetoencephalograph.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 09:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
