[edit] re: Teen Titans

Looking at the article as it currently stands a few things jump out...

Since there is a dab redirecting for both the 1960s and the recent cartoons, those shouldn't be highlighted in the IOM. Bluntly, the articles are else where and the information and images belong there. By all rights a {{main}} or {{see also}} should be there.
Same goes for the SuperFrineds refs... that's good for the Robin, Dick Grayson, and Cyborg articles, but it's out of place in TT.
Size. Right now the file size, 32+k, is, as I understand it, in the "watch" zone. It doesn't need to be compressed/split, but it is getting to that point. The point where it would need active pruning would be at 50+k.
Tense. Right now the article is slanted to being PH from top to bottom, so it should be predominantly in the past tense. (example: "New Teen Titans also uses long story arcs, and the characters are sometimes involved in galactic and interdimensional conflicts." should be recast as "New Teen Titans also used long story arcs, and the characters were sometimes involved in galactic and interdimensional conflicts." The section talks about how the book was formatted and how the stories were themed.) My sersonal opinion is that this isn't a bad thing. The article is in a general use encyclopedia so it should ground on the side of "The is a comic book, this is an intellectual property used to tell stories." The in-universe history is secondary.
If there is a desire to create a separate PH and FTH, then it is very likely that the end product will be 50+k in length, if not much longer. At that point, yes, I could see splitting among the FTH ("(comics)") and the PH over 3 "(comic-book)" articles (Teen Titans including "New", Titans also including "New", and Team Titans). This would require some hashing out about how to dab it though.

My strongest suggestion would be to post a proposal on the articles talk page clearly laying out what you see as the issues that need to be addressed to make the article better and lend to the splitting of it into 2 or more articles. This is not something that "Be bold" covers, it needs input from other editors that have contributed to or watch the page. They may point out things that make the problems you see non-problems, and they may also point out things you've missed. I'd also post a note on the Comics Project talk page pointing to the proposal on the talk page, making it clear that there is a desire to keep the debate in one place.

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
