It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Australian dollar. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --DanielCD 20:47, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
My apologies. It seems I made a mistake in calling it vandalism. --DanielCD 20:55, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks on $1
Thanks for your edits at $1 and welcome to WP! Can I request that if you plan on becoming an active editor that you tput some text in your user page, so that you are no longer a "red" user. Most vandalism is commited by red-users and anon users, so legitimate users are better off blue :) Thanks again for your work! - grubber 23:05, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Images of Australian banknotes
Hi,
Thanks you for providing clearer images. Can I ask you to identify the replaced image, and add
{{subst:ncd|Image:Filename.png}}
to the old image page, where "Image:Filename.png" is the new name. This way, the admin can delete the old image and reduce clutter on Wikipedia. Thank you. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 23:10, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
OK... which files did you have in mind?? I have added my images to Commons, so not to the English Wikipedia. (Extra3 23:12, 2 February 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Category:Currencies of Australia
Whether this category should be in Category:Currencies of Oceania or in Category:Currencies of Asia and the Pacific, which is a parent of the first one, should be discussed on Category Talk:Currencies of Australia. Can we avoid an edit war? --Bduke 03:26, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page moves for Australian Banknotes
Hey,
I noticed you moved all the Australian banknotes to new locations (eg. Five dollar note (Australian) to $5 note (Australian)). I was wondering if you had a particular reason in mind when you did it? Personally I feel it is more clearer in the old way, minus the special characters (ie "$") --DWZ (talk • email • contribs) 10:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey Extra3, thanks for getting back to me. I think I understand your position, but with respect, I don't think renaming the pages way to go, with redirects being used instead. I've put up a "multiple page moves" request up here. The discussion for this move is located at 10c coin (Australian). Feel free to go over there, vote and give your reasons for keeping your changes. Cheers --DWZ (talk • email • contribs) 04:18, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Half dollar v.s. 50 cent coin
Hi,
I notice 158.125.9.4 moved Half dollar to 50 cent coin. I'm wondering if it was you. IMHO, I think the old version is better. The reason is that not necessarily all the 50 cent are half dollar. Half euro is 50 cents. And and not all the half dollar is a coin. 50 Zimbabwean cents is a note. There exits a 50 cents article. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 22:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I did merge the articles; the reason being, to have one article for the definition of a '50 cent coin', rather than several (it seemed as if there were many articles defining the same subject. Would it not be better to combine all articles under this one, as it is possible to make distinctions, as needed?? (e.e. 50 cents may refer to a Zimbabwean note etc. (158.125.9.4 02:25, 4 February 2007 (UTC))

Yes, I agree that we should reduce duplicated info whenever possible. Looking at the history, it appears to be that these are the sequence of events50 cent coin createdHalf dollar changed to a redirect to 50 cent coin, by directly editing50 cents, an existing article, not edited
There are two points I'd like to point outIf you wish to move a page, it is best to use the "move" button at the top. This is done to keep the history of revision even before the move. If you create a page, and make the old page a redirect by directly editing it, then the history is in 2 places. Please understand that I'm not here to place blame. I know that you're still new to Wikipedia. There are subtle things that are not apparent at the beginning.I don't have a problem merging these article, since half dollar is always 50 cents (at least to my knowledge). Please take a look at User:Chochopk/Note#$ clean up for the complicated situation. Let's work out a consistent and global plan for this.

[edit] MI5
Hi there, I noticed you moved the MI5 page to United Kingdom Security Service. If you'd checked the talk page, you'd have noticed that we'd already basically reached a consensus on MI5, since the service is almost always known by these initials, even if it is not its official name. Please check the discussion and the associated links and arguments, and you might want to reconsider. It has certainly never been known as the "United Kingdom Security Service" while at least at one point it was known as MI5. ConDemTalk 18:57, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] {{UK-bsoc-stub}}
Hi - I see you have recently created a new stub type. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 06:55, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bbs.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bbs.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:14, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Bbs.gif
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bbs.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:12, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner.
