[edit] Influenced by Madchester?
The songs of Extricate are heavily influenced by the Manchester scene of the time: the entire sound is quite similar to the dance music that was being made by The Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses.
I've removed this sentence as it is basically untrue; this statement could only really be applied to "Telephone Thing", which dated from MES collaborating with Coldcut in 1988 anyway. Ac@osr 13:26, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
