It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually.

Everyone can add a {{Expire}} template to a page, but once the expire time approaches, it will only actually remove the requested text if it is part of an allowed template. If you would like to propose a template to be used with the bot, please notify slakr or another administrator.
