Talk:Explorers Club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
'a gathering place and unifying force for explorers and field scientists the world over, serving as a base for expedition planning, presentations, meetings, and events', and for that matter, most of the rest of the article sound as though they were cut-and-pasted directly from Explorers' Club literature. As the thing's called a stub, I suppose they likely were, but someone more patient or more passionate about the evenhanded, scholarly description of private clubs than I should clean the thing up.
[edit] POV Check
Starting with the sentence "The Explorers Club cherishes...", the article no longer reads like an article, but an impassioned description. Is this just my imagination? --SilverhandTalk 17:33, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
