Under the Star Wars section--

"A few elements created in the Star Wars Expanded Universe have made it into the officially released media, for example:

Mara Jade, a character originally introduced into the Star Wars universe by the author Timothy Zahn, and later adopted in official LucasArts videogames"

This seems like an odd example to me, and odd wording in the lead-in. The EU is "officially released media," it's just sometimes released under licensees and what-not. But it's still official, it's not some random company deciding to write a book and slap a "Star Wars" label on it. And making the jump from a book to a videogame doesn't seem like a good example of EU material entering the highest level of canonicity, which as far as I can tell is what this bit is presenting it as. Both the books and videogames are C-canon. Yes, it jumped from one medium to another, but that's it--it never went beyond the Expanded Universe.

Any comments? Ideas? Input on how to rephrase this? Tophtucker 05:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
