Pollution is an excess of anything- from highway billboards (visual, ie they are an eyesore), to smog or the o-zone layer (in that they deprive us of oxygen, in some cases). Remember, when studying pollution, that ANYTHING, absolutely ANYTHING in excess, that cannot be 'fixed' or retutrned to the better way it was before the incident, it IS a form of pollution!
