Talk:Exit Strategy (Arrested Development episode)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As Michael, G.O.B. and Buster are leaving Iraq in a rickshaw at the end of the episode (right around when Buster says "Take Condoleeza Rice Lane", there is a large white sign in Arabic on a distant hilltop in the background of the shot. It is highly reminiscent of the Hollywood sign. Can anyone translate this? I doubt it was unintentional. I suspect there's a joke there. It might be meta-reflexive, hinting at the fact that the "Iraq" segments were shot on a studio lot, not on-location. - JWF 7/21/2006 10:35 AM PST
When Tobias references the "incredibly detailed" set-dressing hollywood shows use, he opens a cabinet which is empty except for a starbucks cup (or perhaps simply a generic paper coffee cup). George Michael then opens a cabinet which contains only the item he removes (unclear as to what it is). Are these references to product placement from MotherboyXXX and the Burger King joke, or is it a one-time joke? 76.118.184.26 (talk) 01:51, 12 June 2008 (UTC) - KBS 6/11/08 9:50 PM EST

In Charity Drive Lucile yells at the then-new Lupe: I hope you have an exit strategy!.
That episode also features Michael and George Michael arrested together, on their way to see the likewise arrested George, Sr. — the same three that are eventually "released" at the end of the third season. --JPX7 06:09, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Arrested Development - Exit Strategy.jpg
Image:Arrested Development - Exit Strategy.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
