"last"? not even Roth can know that

Please do your research before making edits such as you made. The publisher (in the link I already put in the article no less) has said that it will be the last Zuckerman book, I'm guessing because Roth himself has told them. Why can't Roth know that this is the last Zuckerman book he'll be writing? Why is it so hard to conceive that he told his publisher it is so? Seriously, the title is Exit Ghost! As if more evidence is needed, see here, here, and here. Please, next time have some familiarity with the subject before you start making edits. Thanks. Inoculatedcities 14:37, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

First: why do you presume I didn't do research?
Roth can't know for sure that it will be his last book because authors sometimes change their mind. You didn't write "Roth says it will be his last Zuckerman book" which would be ok if sourced. You wrote that it will be last Zuckerman book. That's a prediction. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. It's important to understand that publishers frequently make these melodramatic predictions to hype sales much like the The Who have had about a dozen farewell tours. Don't just repeat P.R. pap uncritically. --dm (talk) 17:38, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
