Anyone aware that today number of truck and engine manufacturers combine both the exhaust and compression brakes to work together , this design also improves the overall effectiveness and also reduce the noise from the compression brakes. The term engine brake is misleading as it can be applied to both exhaust and compression brakes repectively. Stonufka (talk) 13:51, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
