[edit] Please Please Please Me
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Please Please Please Me, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Please Please Please Me. Lillygirl (talk) 22:20, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Identified
Can you please point me at one reliable source? It would save me a lot of work if you did. Tommy2.net isn't one, vanessa-hudgens.com isn't one, and that forum discussion at atrl.com isn't one. What others are there?Kww (talk) 13:40, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Are sites actually allowed to put false information on them? because it isn't right because it gives people wrong information. Exclusive_474 14:44, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Absolutely they do. Are they "allowed"? Not really, but unless someone thinks the false statement is enough to sue over, it probably won't cause a legal problem. That's the reason we have a policy about what a reliable source is. When people put things in Wikipedia, other editors check to make sure that they can point to someone that is known for telling the truth that says the same thing. In this case, I can't do it, which is why I nominated the article for deletion. If you look over my edit history, you'll see I spend most of my time on Wikipedia taking false things out.
- If you can't find a reliable source, could you please go back to the Identified AFD, and change your statement?Kww (talk) 13:54, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ok then, I cannot find reliable sources like her official site or myspace, so I suppose I will change my statement and we will have to wait until some proper information is announced. By the way, how do you know if it is a reliable source? Exclusive_474 15:00 (UTC)
- It's easier to tell unreliable. Blogs and discussion boards aren't allowed. For reliable, I look for reputation (places like the New York Times or Time magazine for hard news, E! or TMZ for more celebrity oriented stuff). If I can't figure it out, there's a whole discussion board devoted to analyzing whether a source is reliable or not, and I'll post it there to get other peoples opinion. The official policy is here.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Openyoureyes.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Openyoureyes.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:49, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Repost of Open Your Eyes (Unreleased)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Open Your Eyes (Unreleased), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Open Your Eyes (Unreleased) was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Open Your Eyes (Unreleased), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Openyoureyes.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Openyoureyes.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:32, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Open Your Eyes
[edit] Repost of Open Your Eyes (Shelved)
A tag has been placed on Open Your Eyes (Shelved), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Open Your Eyes (Shelved) is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Open Your Eyes (Shelved) saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Look, you can't keep creating articles like this Kain, just please try to create sourced articles. Surfer-boy94 (talk) 01:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
