[edit] Licensing

I low resolution scanned (300dpi) and resized this image from material that had been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, as per the Non-free promotional licence .

Noting the Mendaxi nameplate may constitute a trademark of Mendaxi. (an obsolete business that went bankrupt and was struck off the Greek Corporate Register in 1976). The trademark by definition is unverifiable as the Company has ceased to exist in a contactable way.

Fair use rationale of promotional image:

  1. Source: Copyright by Mendaxi TM
  2. Posted to show an example of Mendaxi’s innovative style of public promotional campaigning using controversial images within a conservative military governed nation during 1972 (see Greek_junta).; Not replaceable as this company no longer exists.
  3. It is the only image available thus far for the illustration of Mendaxi’s unique and innovative 1970’s public promotional campaigning in the context of the article Mendaxi
  4. This image is therefore not replaceable as this is a historic image from the early 1970's;
  5. This image is small and of low resolution, as a result of its being scanned, and is, therefore, of significantly inferior quality and size when compared to the original.
  6. Its use is non-commercial.
