EWP was first created in 2005 when three young high school students decided to create there own wrestling federation. During the start of the creation the first name for the federation was called LETPC short for our initials. We fist started wrestling in a backyard with ropes stretching from an aviary around a close line to a fence.

At start we had a roster of 8 wrestlers but as we went on some could not take the pain of taking falls to well so they left LETPC. So gradually we went down to 4 wrestlers but the thought that went between the 4 wrestlers/ friends is that we were serious about this so we changed the name to EWP short for extreme wrestling promotion.

It was then that we thought wrestling on a hard ground was only gonna lead to injuries so at a mates house we had a big enough shed for a ring, crowd area and an entrance. We had made the ring purely out of tires which was 2 tires high and filled the bottom ones with dirt to keep them in place and the top with foam then wood. On the top of the tires we had laid down wood then we had under laying on top of that with carpet stretched over it all to keep it all in place. for such an easy idea for a ring it turned out real good which was used for years.
