EVula is dealing with real-life crap (see the links). I'll be around, but not doing much more than WP:CHU patrols.

Not like I'm a computer nerd or anything...

  • I'm a proud Mac user. If you use Windows, that's okay; I'll just have a moment of silence for every virus and trojan horse that you have to deal with. Actually, scratch that; if I did, I'd never start talking (granted, that would be okay to some...)
  • I use Safari as my primary browser, but I also use Firefox, Opera, Camino, and IE for testing websites.
  • I hate Internet Explorer. I don't care what browser you use, just don't use IE. Why? For starters, it opens up Windows users to a whole world of problems. Secondly, IE's support of style sheets sucks. I cannot stress this enough.
  • I can sling XHTML no nobody's business. As long as you don't think about the previous statement very much, it makes perfect sense. Trust me on this one.
  • Tied very closely to my XHTML skills, I'm pretty damn handy with style sheets, too. I'm currently bemoaning the fact that I can't link to an external style sheet on my userpages, as I was hoping to spiffy the place up with some pseudo classes. *sigh*
  • Continuing the downward trend of my skillsets, I'm not bad with PHP. I've yet to do any database-driven websites, but I have done some pretty tricky websites using fairly complex if/then statements.
  • If I'm looking up exact information, I'll generally check out Wikipedia first (which is really easy, as I almost always have a wiki window up).
  • I use Google. 'nuff said.
  • I love having a dual monitor setup at work. If I had the desk space at home, I'd get a similar setup.
  • I'm pretty damn handy with templates. I'd actually say I'm a level 3.5, but I'll round down...
  • After over 26k edits around here, I've gotten to be damn good with wiki-markup...
