Evrard Wendenbaum

Evrard Wendenbaum (born March 13, 1979) a geologist by training, is now an outdoor photographer, videographer and filmmaker adventurer (climbing expedition kind).

Wendenbaum was born in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, France into a family of teachers. Very young, he participated in the mountains with Sebastian, his elder brother. The latter helped him discover the treasures that lie behind the Alps and 15 years since he launched himself into mountaineering.

In December 2000, he moved to Tucson (USA) as an assistant Glaciologue and works for the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources University of Arizona. In January 2002, he took part as an assistant researcher Tectonics and Sedimentation "to the mission Oceanographic" Caramba "(CNRS-IFREMER) on the chain submarine in the Caribbean. In 2002, he graduated from DEA in "dynamic of the lithosphere: ocean margins of the mountain." In January 2003, he became a cultural leader - geologist at the Centre of Geology at the Oisans. He gives lectures and guides trips until July 2004. At that time, he also trained and anthropological documentary Cinema at the Sorbonne University in Paris.

This nature-lovers and indefatigable adventurous travels the world in search of unexplored corners and often inaccessible. Since 1999, he organized many expeditions, sporting first (climbing, trekking, mountaineering, canyoning, kayaking), and then recently, he went on exploration projects, including one conducted in 2008 in Madagascar in the mountain of Makay.
