[edit] Suggestions

Done in part:

This page needs references to specific people and works. Right now it's barely a dictionary entry, and the hypothetical example kind of makes the idea look rather unsophisticated. (suggestion from Rainwarrior)

To do:

I think, better than such an example, would be a series of sound samples from various stages in the evolutionary process, demonstrating the improvement over generations, taken from someone's actual work on it (have you done any work with it that you'd like to share, uncoolbob?). Do you know of any published articles or books about "evolutionary music"? Can you cite them and incorporate material from them into this article? -- Rainwarrior 18:49, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GenDrum? GADrum?

I'm sure there was a genetic algorithm drum loop generator (with a default tempo of 170+) around a few years ago. I can't find it now. Does anyone remember the name? Uncoolbob 22:44, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] EuroGP Song Contest

This was run by Owen somebody I think. Can somebody add more details? Was there any followup or paper? It definitely happened (I was there). Uncoolbob 22:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
