Evo Terra (born June 10, 1968) is an American podcaster, writer and businessman based in Arizona. He is formerly co-host of the award winning[1] podcast Slice of SciFi with Michael R. Mennenga and Summer Brooks.

Most notably, he is one of the founders of Podiobooks.com, an audiobook service that combines podcasting technology to distribute serialized versions of novels, non-fiction books, anthologies and short story collections.[2][3] He is also a founder of FarPoint Media, a company that supports and create a select group of podcasts, though mostly focused on various aspects of science fiction. He maintains his personal and professional website, Fun Anymore, where he discusses social media, Web 2.0 applications, and the digital lifestyle. His infrequently updated podcast, Evo's CultCast, is also distributed from this site.

On June 3, 2007, Evo announced that his relationship with Farpoint Media had come to an end.[4] Fans of the show,

I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I’m ceasing my involvement with Wingin’ It! and all other FarPoint properties. This stems from some ill will that had been brewing with the FPM principals towards me and my actions not on WI!, but specifically on SoSF. Oddly (or naively) enough, I didn’t pick up on the vibes and went trucking along as if everything was fine. Guess it wasn’t.

And for an extra special heaping of bad news: I’m not coming to the Pool Party. Yeah, that really sucks and I feel like I’ve let a lot of you down. However, I can’t in good conscious pretend that things are fine when they obviously are not. So drink lots of beer for me and have a great time. Heck, I may even tune into the live feed.

To those of you who tuned in to the Balticon episode of Wingin’ It! or were in the audience — I hope you enjoyed the show and wish it could have been a better exit. But some things in life you just don’t get to chose.
