From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
evilwm is a minimalist window manager for the X Window System. It lacks traditional window manager decorations in that there is only a one pixel border around windows, and even this feature can be removed or re-adjusted from a command-line option. evilwm has other basic window manager features such as key bindings for tasks such as launching a terminal and managing windows and virtual desktops.
evilwm is free software. It is based on the source code to aewm, which itself was based on the source code to 9wm, a minimalist window manager based on the interface to the Plan 9 operating system.
