[edit] Quality of Article

This article is more like an ad for eVGA than an encyclopedia article... It needs some major fixing. 84.94.133.8 (talk) 23:00, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] where made?

hey guys, one time in Maximum PC, they had a picture of an eVGA graphics card, extreme close-up. visible on the card was "MADE IN USA". I sent Maximum PC an email about it, and they said they would tell where a consumer could get an eVGA card Made in USA in a future issue, but I never saw it. Anybody out there know if eVGA does assembly of the boards here in America??? I would be very interested in a card that I knew was not assembled by slave labor or in a communist/facsist state. So any of the G7 nations (I don't count Russia since they seem to be going back to communism) would be acceptable to me, although USA would be preferred. Get back at me...71.116.71.27 04:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cards

I think that there should be a table with some of the models and specs for eVGA's graphics cards. Any thoughts? --BenWhitey 00:50, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

I don't think the specs would be appropriate, and a list of their current cards would be a nightmare to keep up anyway, as well as being somewhat pointless in an encyclopedia article. Afterall, it's not a product catalog. :) RobertM525 09:38, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree completely with Robert :) Balfa 17:47, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Step-Up

The link to the approved list of vendors seems to indicate the list applies only to cards purchased as part of a complete system. If this is the case, then should the article be changed to clarify this? - Cgage22 00:07, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] History

Should I add a History section? That way the article would be longer and it wouldn't seem like an ad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Astroview120mm (talkcontribs) 02:19, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] assertion of notablity?

This page was nominated for speedy deletion as spam, and were I not a computer geek, it might well have been deleted because it lacked any assertion of notability. I found the original assertion in one of the early versions of the page.. but it's not a very strong assertion.. (they make really fast video cards.. ). Perhaps someone can add to this, or at least provide more than the single benchmarking review to support the assertion. I'm thinking they might also be notable for their warranty and tradeup programs. --Versageek 02:10, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
