The proof of the fact that the sign of the composition of two permutation is the product of the signs is wrong: we need to multiply and divide by P(x_\tau(1),...,x_\tau(n)) so that we obtain the desired product. Please someone confirm this and I wil make the change. Alberto

I think you're right. It does appear sgn(tau) isn't right. Go ahead as far as I'm concerned. - grubber 14:48, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
