[edit] Welcome!

Welcome!

Hello, Evaunit511, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  - Mike 02:46, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Internal wikilinks

Hi! I have edited your userpage to show the proper formatting for internal links on Wikipedia. Go to your userpage and click "edit this page" so you can see the syntax. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have :-). - Mike 02:49, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

How do I upload a picture and embed it into an article? thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evaunit511 (talkcontribs)

You'll see on the sidebar a link to "Upload file". Click on that and follow the instructions on the page. Hope that helps! - Mike 21:44, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE:Help

No problem. Feel free to ask me if you have anymore questions. A minor note - when you add to a talk page it's usual practice to add new discussions to the bottom of the page, rather than the top (Don't worry, I did the same exact thing when I started out :-). An easy way to do this is to click on the "+" next to "edit this page on a talk page. It would be just like writing an e-mail. Just fill ina subject line, and type your message in the field below, and click "save page". It will automatically add your new topic to the bottom, and create an automatic edit summary. - Mike 22:40, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:ODISAgencyList.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:ODISAgencyList.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:08, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hmm.

So adding a prod to an article that has birdshit G'hits is classified as vandalism? oTHErONE (Contribs) 02:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ODIS

Could you add some sources or references to the article? Thank you, and happy editing, Kusma (討論) 13:51, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Fire Service

Hello, I was browsing WikiPedia and noticed that you are/were a firefighter. I highly encourage you to stop by and check out our WikiProject relating to the Fire Service around the world. We are in need of many editors and administrators to help the cause. Stay safe, Daysleeper47 19:02, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trunking articles

I was doing some looking into trunking radio, and just noticed that you had started most (all?) of the SmartNet-themed articles. I just wanted to stop in and thank you for contributing such great information! Fogster 21:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:OA Information

I don't recall posting any names that shouldn't be posted. Source please? - Brandon Rhea (talk) 22:07, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Control Channel

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Control Channel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
